Which costs would be associated with an application?
The costs for patent applications, utility model applications, trademark applications and design applications consist of official fees and patent attorney fees. The various filing possibilities and filing strategies render it impossible to provide a flat-rate cost estimate. However, in order to give you an idea, you will find the following information on costs for German patent, trademark and design applications ready for filing, including official fees, plus VAT. The costs for European and international applications are usually considerably higher.
