The Patent Attorneys Ostriga, Sonnet Wirths & Vorwerk use your data for the purpose of implementing the contract, to fulfill the contractual and pre-contractual obligations, to focus on high quality care of relations with clients as well as the purpose of dissemination of information.

Data collection and processing is required for the implementation of a business relationship on contract basis and is based on Art. 6 I lit b GDPR.
Dissemination of information, answering of enquires as well as the continuation of non-contractual attorney-client relationships are based on Art. 6 I lit f GDPR.

In initiation and maintenance of relations with clients and dissemination of information, we collect personal data as follows:
Salutation, forename, surname, a valid e-mail address, address, phone number (landline and/or mobile).

The collection of the data occurs,
to identify you as our client or supplier;
to advise and inform you appropriately;
our correspondence with you;
to process orders;
to generate invoices;
to process possible guarantee claims and warranty claims;
for coordination of repair measures
for production information as well as information of events

Personal data for the maintenance of business relationships will be kept until the resigning of the business relationship and will be deleted afterwards, unless we are obliged to keep a longer storage according to Art. 6 I p.1 lit c GDPR due to commercial and taxation storage and documentation obligations (HGB, StGB or AO).

Passing on data to third parties

In case of an order processing, we reserve the right to pass on your data on contract basis to authorities.
Enquiries, which we are not able to deal with, will be forwarded to one of our trustworthy partners, who will be able to serve your needs/concerns.

Rights of persons concerned

You have the right:

based on Art. 7 III GDPR you may, at any time, withdraw your consent once given. This means that we are not allowed to continue with the data processing based on this consent; according to Art. 15 GDPR request information about your, from us used, personal data. You may request information, especially, about the processing purpose, the category of your personal data, the categories of recipients to whom your data have been or will be revealed, the intended storage duration, the existence of a right to have an amendment, deletion, to limit the processing or contradiction, the existence of a right to appeal, to have the original source unless the data have not been collected on our end as well as the existence of an automated decision-making including profiling and where applicable, significant information about its details;

based on Art. 16 GDPR, to ask for correction of incorrect data or completion of personal data recorded;

based on Art. 17 GDPR, to ask for deletion of your personal data recorded unless the processing to exercise the right of free expression and information is not essential, the settlement of an obligation, to ask based on reasons of the public interests or for assertion, the exercise or defense of legal claims if it is essential;

based on Art. 18 GDPR, to ask for limitation of the processing of your personal data when the correctness of its data will be disputed, the processing is illegitimate but you refuse the deletion and we do not require your data anymore, however, you require those for assertion, the exercise or defense of legal claims or in case have filed an objection based on Art. 21 GDPR against the processing;

based on Art. 20 GDPR, to request your personal data, which you have provided to us, in a structured, common and machine-readable format or the transmission to another responsible person and based on Art. 77 DSGVO, to complain at a regulatory authority. Therefore, you could generally consult the regulatory authority of your usual whereabouts or workplace.

Right of objection

 Unless your personal data will be processed on basis of legitimate interests based on Art. I p. 1 lit. f GDPR, you have the right, based on Art. 21 DSGVO, to file an objection against the processing of your personal data, as far as legitimate grounds do exist, which results from its special situation.
